About us
Mahadev Foundation is a leading non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering women, children, and marginalized communities in Ghana and beyond. Founded on the principles of gender equality and social justice, we strive to create a world where every woman and child can thrive and achieve their full potential.
Our organization serves as an umbrella for various initiatives, including Women in Oil and Gas (WIOG), Women and Youth in Agriculture (WAYIA), and the Coalition of NGOs for Women and Children Affairs (CONWAC). Together, we focus on advocacy, education, and economic empowerment, aiming to improve the dignity and rights of those we serve.

Our mission is to empower marginalized communities through education, innovation, skill development, and digital literacy, fostering a culture of inclusivity, social justice, eco-friendly and sustainable growth, to create a world where everyone has access to quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.

We envision a world where human rights are respected, protected, and fulfilled;
also, communities are empowered, resilient, and thriving, with equal access to resources,
opportunities, and social services, and where everyone can live in peace, safety, and prosperity.

Women in Oil and Gas (WIOG)
Programes
Yoga & Meditation Programs
The Women in Oil and Gas (WIOG) initiative is dedicated to promoting gender equality and increasing the representation of women in the oil and gas sector. WIOG works to break the barriers that limit women’s participation in this male-dominated industry by providing opportunities for training, mentorship, and advocacy. The program seeks to empower women with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the energy sector, focusing on leadership, technical expertise, and policy influence.
Self-Dependent Youth Program
The Women and Youth in Agriculture (WAYIA) program focuses on empowering women and young people in the agricultural sector through training, technology adoption, and market access. Agriculture is a critical source of livelihood for many communities, and WAYIA works to enhance economic opportunities for women and youth by promoting sustainable practices, climate-smart agriculture, and value chain development.
Healthcare & Medical Initiatives
The Coalition of NGOs for Women and Children Affairs (CONWAC) is a collaborative platform that unites various non-governmental organizations dedicated to improving the welfare of women and children. CONWAC aims to amplify the voices of its member organizations by coordinating efforts, sharing resources, and advocating for policies that protect and promote the rights of women and children.
